7 years agoThe Denver Broncos will not exercise linebacker Shane Ray's fifth-year option, according to a source. Ray had a career-high eight sacks while recording 48 tackles in 2016, but he played in just eight games last year due to injury and had just one sack. With Denver selecting edge rusher Bradley Chubb to play on Ray's side opposite Von Miller, the writing is on the wall for Ray.
