6 years agoThe Denver Broncos defense/special teams unit has held their last four opponents to an average of 17 points while compiling 13 sacks, five interceptions and three fumble recoveries. Considering three of those four games came against some of the league's top offenses -- Texans, Chargers, and Steelers -- a matchup with a 49ers team which will be without it's top offensive weapon in Matt Breida and has allowed the sixth-most sacks while averaging a pedestrian 21.3 points per game, isn't exactly threatening. Oh, and San Francisco 49ers rookie quarterback Nick Mullens has returned to Earth following his impressive debut, and has aided in the team allowing back-to-back DSTs to put up double-digit fantasy performances by throwing five interceptions over his last three games. Fire up the Broncos DST with confidence this week - even with the injuries to cornerbacks Chris Harris, Tramaine Brock, and linebacker Shaquil Barrett.--Leonard Francis II
