Broncos Double Up At WR, Select K.J. Hamler
5 years agoThe Denver Broncos used their second-round pick on Penn State wide receiver K.J. Hamler at pick No. 46. This is an interesting pick, as the Broncos used their first-round pick on Jerry Jeudy, so they have clearly made it a priority to add weapons for quarterback Drew Lock. At 5-foot-9, Hamler doesn't boast elite size, but he is an explosive route runner with good quickness. He'll enter his rookie season third on the depth chart behind Courtland Sutton and Jeudy. Hamler can be a threat down the field eventually, but he'll be more of a dynasty/keeper asset right off the bat.
