6 years agoThe Denver Broncos defense/special teams unit put up negative-two fantasy points in what appeared to be a favorable matchup against the New York Jets in Week 5 - their second-straight negative fantasy performance. The Broncos did force two turnovers on the day -- intercepting their first pass since Week 1 -- but Denver's revered pass rush was able to sack Jets quarterback Sam Darnold just once in the game and have now failed to produce multiple sacks in three of their five games. The 34 points allowed were also a season-high. This unit has been relegated to a matchup-based streamer, and with the Los Angeles Rams making the trip to Denver in Week 6, that's not likely the one - we could be in for a third-straight underwhelming performance.--Leonard Francis II
