3 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III recently re-signed a deal to return to the team. However, while most believe the veteran will exclusively be the No. 2 option behind Javonte Williams, Broncos general manager George Patton, speaking with Jeff Legwold of ESPN, recently expressed his want to see a timeshare continue. Unquestionably, Patton's desire makes the backfield situation in Denver more complicated, and it also suggests Williams may not have a firm grasp on the No. 1 job after all.
