3 years agoBarring an unforeseen hiccup, Denver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett plans to hire Los Angeles Rams defensive backs coach Ejiro Evero as the team's next defensive coordinator, according to sources. Evero is busy game-planning for the Super Bowl in two weeks against the Cincinnati Bengals, but it looks like he'll be heading to Denver after that. Hackett and Evero were college teammates and also worked together with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2007. Evero has been with the Rams since 2017 and has also worked for the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers.
