Broncos Planning To Sign Tom Compton
3 years agoThe Denver Broncos are planning to sign former San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Tom Compton to a one-year deal, according to a source. The 32-year-old spent the last two seasons with the 49ers, playing in all 17 games last year while making seven starts. The Broncos will look to improve their offensive line in order to protect new quarterback Russell Wilson, and Compton will be part of that. He was a sixth-round selection in 2012 by Washington, and he has appeared in 123 games (44 starts) with Washington, the Atlanta Falcons, the Chicago Bears, the Minnesota Vikings, the New York Jets and the Niners.
