Broncos Sign Eric Tomlinson
3 years agoThe Denver Broncos signed free-agent tight end Eric Tomlinson to an undisclosed one-year deal on Wednesday. The team also announced they re-signed linebacker Josey Jewell to a two-year deal worth $11 million. Tomlinson appeared in all 17 games for the Baltimore Ravens last year, but he had just one catch for seven yards. The 29-year-old has a grand total of two catches for eight yards in the last three years with the New England Patriots, New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders and Ravens. Although the Broncos parted ways with Noah Fant in the Russell Wilson trade, Albert Okwuegbunam is currently projected as their primary pass-catching tight end in 2022. Tomlinson will mainly be a blocker for Denver and won't be on the fantasy radar.
