3 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Brooks Kriske was sent packing back to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday. The demotion isn't a surprise, especially after his horrendous performance on Thursday against the Boston Red Sox. The 27-year-old is currently sitting on a 10.80 ERA throughout seven big league appearances this year, so he can be dropped in all formats. Jonathan Loaisiga (illness) was activated from the COVID-19 injured list and will take a spot on the roster. The righty owns a 7-3 record this season, with 46 strikeouts, 10 holds, and two saves throughout 47 innings.
