3 years agoThe Cleveland Browns aren't entirely sold on going forward with Baker Mayfield as their starting quarterback and are fielding exploratory trade calls on him, according to league sources not authorized to speak. The Browns are exploring trade scenarios for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson as well. Cleveland isn't expected to land Watson, however. Mayfield played hurt in 2021 with a torn labrum in his non-throwing shoulder, and he's due an $18.858 million fully guaranteed salary this season. He threw for 3,010 yards, 17 touchdowns and 13 interceptions for an 83.1 passer rating and was sacked a career-high 43 times. Mayfield could turn things around with better health and with wide receiver Amari Cooper now his top wideout, but most fantasy managers should have little interest in finding out.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
