Browns Ink Jeff Janis
7 years agoThe Cleveland Browns and free-agent wide receiver Jeff Janis have agreed to a contract. Janis, a former Green Bay Packer, is expected to slide in as the team's No. 4 receiver after Josh Gordon, Jarvis Landry and Corey Coleman. From a fantasy standpoint, it isn't a great landing spot for the fifth-year pass catcher. That being said, there have been some rumors that the team may try to trade Coleman this offseason, which would benefit Janis. Janis caught 17 passes for 200 yards and one touchdown in 51 games with the Packers. From a real football standpoint, Janis is an excellent special teams player who will help Cleveland significantly in that aspect of the game.
