3 years agoThe Cleveland Browns have been informed that they are out of the running for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, according to sources. The Browns still view Baker Mayfield as their quarterback going forward, and they told his agents at the combine that they'd only explore top-tier QBs like Watson. Watson has a no-trade clause in his contract and won't waive it to go to Cleveland. Meanwhile, there have been reports that Cleveland's relationship with Mayfield might be beyond repair. Mayfield even issued a statement on Twitter thanking the fans of the team in the event he was traded. It's an ugly situation that likely won't be resolved anytime soon. If Mayfield is starting in Cleveland or elsewhere in 2022, most fantasy managers shouldn't want anything to do with him.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
