Bruce Arians Impressed With Ke'Shawn Vaughn
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ke'Shawn Vaughn got some high praise from the team's head coach after his impressive performance in Week 16. Bruce Arians said he thinks Vaughn is a "lead dog" and not "just a third-down back," which could mean the 2020 third-rounder will be leaned on more without Leonard Fournette and Giovani Bernard available. The sophomore got loose for a 55-yard touchdown run in the win against the Panthers and ended up finishing with seven carries for 70 yards. Ronald Jones II still figures to lead the backfield in carries, but it wouldn't be a surprise if Vaughn is able to produce FLEX-worthy fantasy numbers against the Jets, who have given up the second-most rushing yards this season. Jones is an RB2 in this one, but there are likely enough touches for both backs to produce significant numbers in what should be a blowout win.
