6 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Bruce Ellington showed a strong connection with quarterback Deshaun Watson in Saturday's preseason victory over the San Francisco 49ers, finishing with 50 yards and a touchdown on four receptions. Ellington was Watson's favorite target in the game and continues to shine in the team's three way battle for the slot receiver spot; with Keke Coutee missing time with a hamstring injury and Braxton Miller seeing most of his playing time with the backups, Ellington might have a good chance of earning the job.
