6 years agoThe Boston Bruins acquired center Charlie Coyle from the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday in exchange for center Ryan Donato and a fifth-round pick. Coyle, who hails from nearby East Weymouth, Mass., posted 10 goals with 28 points with a plus-1 rating in 60 games with the Wild. Donato, who was also a Boston native, gets a chance in the Twin Cities after struggling with nine points over 34 games in Beantown. The Olympian for Team USA in PyeongChang just never seemed to get going for the B's and they lost patience, upgraded for the playoffs with the hard-nosed Coyle.--Daniel Dobish
