Bruno Silva Drops Second Straight Fight
2 years agoIt's now back-to-back losses for Bruno Silva, who suffered a third-round submission loss to Gerald Meerschaert in Saturday's main-card opener. In 11:39 of total action, Silva was only able to land 29 significant strikes but stuffed five of Meerschaert's six takedown tries. Silva had a moment here and there, but for the most part, it was Meerschaert's bout. Should Silva see a drop in opponent talent his next time out, it's possible that he could rebound. If he's tasked with another tough, seasoned fighter, it's probably best to stay clear of Silva in fantasy.
