3 years agoHouston Astros relief pitcher Bryan Abreu (calf) is scheduled to pitch two innings on Tuesday night for Triple-A Sugar Land, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reported. The 24-year-old righty has been sidelined since late May with lingering calf issues but appears to be moving right along with his rehab assignment. Abreu holds a 4.21 ERA through 25 2/3 innings so far this season, although he had brought it down to 3.75 in May. The Astros no doubt want him back healthy to beef up their bullpen, however, he still won't hold much fantasy value when he returns to a setup role. In related news, Astros starting pitcher Enoli Paredes (shoulder) is scheduled to pitch one inning for Sugar Land on Tuesday. Paredes has a 6.23 ERA through 8 2/3 innings pitched this season, so fantasy managers should steer clear of him.--Chelena Goldman
