Bryan Reynolds Hasn't Resumed Baseball Activities
2 years agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder Bryan Reynolds (oblique) has yet to resume baseball activities, and the plan is to re-evaluate him after the All-Star break. There remains no timeline for his potential return. Reynolds was placed on the injured list on Monday with a right oblique strain and might not be ready to go once the second half of the season begins on July 22. Before getting injured, the 27-year-old was hitting .261/.343/.465 with an .808 OPS, 15 home runs, 32 RBI, 40 runs scored and three stolen bases in 344 plate appearances over 83 games played. He needs to be stashed in all fantasy leagues while he's on the shelf. Jake Marisnick, who has gone 11-for-55 with two home runs in his first 24 games with Pittsburgh, has started in center field in each of the team's last three games.
