4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper (back) has been cleared to play Monday against Washington and right-hander Anibal Sanchez, batting second in the lineup. Harper exited Sunday’s contest due to lower back tightness, and while he is holding down the designated hitter slot Monday, his presence in the lineup is a positive for fantasy managers who were concerned about a potential injured list stint. Having served as the anchor of the Phillies’ lineup this year, Harper’s 41 walks lead the National League, while he has compiled a .927 OPS, his highest mark since 2017.--Jesse Borek
