5 years agoUpdating a previous report, Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper said he is fine after being hit by a pitch in the foot and leaving Tuesday's game. Harper was removed from the game as a precaution, but it sounds like the star outfielder is fine and should continue his spring as normal. Harper slashed .260/.372/.510 with 35 homers in his first year in Philadelphia and should be primed for another big season based on his quality of contact. He was in the top-sixth percentile last season in barrel rate, expected slugging percentage and expected wOBA, so the batted-ball data backs up his big numbers. He offers a safe floor with MVP-level upside for an average draft cost of 22nd overall.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
