Bryce Harper Goes Hitless In Loss To The A's
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in a 4-1 loss to the Oakland Athletics on Sunday. The Phillies couldn't get much of anything going against A's starter Daulton Jefferies and company. They mustered just three hits as a team and didn't get on the scoreboard until the bottom of the ninth inning. Harper has just one hit so far this season and holds a .091/.231/.182 triple-slash line with just one RBI. The reigning NL MVP will be just fine moving forward and there is zero reason to panic three games into the season. He should be able to get things going against Taijuan Walker and the Mets as the Phillies open up a three-game set with their division rival on Monday.
