Bryce Harper Not Playing Tuesday
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday against the San Diego Padres. Harper will miss his second straight game as he continues to receive platelet-rich plasma injections for his injured right elbow. Despite serving as the designated hitter and playing through pain, the 29-year-old continues to swing a hot bat, as he's slashing .396/.434/.917 with a 1.351 OPS, six home runs, 13 RBI, 12 runs scored and three stolen bases in 12 games in the month of May. When Harper rejoins the lineup, get him back into all starting fantasy lineups. Nick Castellanos is serving as the designated hitter on Tuesday and is batting cleanup against Padres right-hander Mike Clevinger, with Odubel Herrera in right field and batting sixth.
