5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper went 2-for-5 with a run scored in a win over the Mets Sunday. Harper got off to a slow start but has been much better lately with a .333 batting average and a .593 slugging percentage since June 29. More importantly, since that time Harper has only struck out 15.4 percent of the time instead of the 28 percent rate he was whiffing at before this stretch. Harper's 45.3 percent hard contact percentage is in the top 30 in all of baseball so if he can keep the strikeouts down his fantasy owners should enjoy a monster second half.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
