3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper set a new career high with three stolen bases against the Atlanta Braves Friday. Harper went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double, a walk, and a run scored, and then proceeded to run wild on the basepaths. He seems to be just fine after fouling a ball off his lower leg on Wednesday. Harper is now slashing .287/.387/.518 with 15 homers, 11 steals, 50 runs, and 35 RBI in 272 at-bats on the season. The run and RBI totals are a bit light for a player of his ability, but the combination of power and steals are extremely valuable, especially in leagues that reward Net Steals as Harper is yet to be caught.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
