Bryce Perkins Throws For 143 Yards In Preseason Finale
2 years agoLos Angeles Rams quarterback Bryce Perkins completed 14-of-19 attempts for 143 yards while carrying the ball eight times for 33 yards and one touchdown in Saturday’s 16-7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The 25-year-old showed off his elusiveness when he escaped pressure and slipped just inside the pylon for the LA's only score in the fourth quarter. It was his second rushing touchdown of the preseason. His playmaking ability earned the third-year signal caller praise from coach Sean McVay. Perkins started and played the whole game against the Bengals, while QB John Wolford (thumb) missed the game with a thumb injury. Wolford served as Matthew Stafford's backup the past two seasons, but Perkins has made a push for the No. 2 QB job.
