Buccaneers Not Ruling Out Rob Gronkowski's Return
3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers are holding out hope that tight end Rob Gronkowski will come back for the 2022 season, even after quarterback Tom Brady officially announced his retirement from football last week. Gronkowski didn't rule out a return for the 2022 season after the Divisional Round loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The Bucs signed Gronk to a one-year, $8 million deal last offseason that carried void years, so he will become a free agent in March. The 32-year-old missed six games due to injury in 2021 and finished with 55 catches on 89 targets for 802 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games. Gronkowski would be at least a low-end TE1 in fantasy if he returns, but without Brady throwing him passes, the upside just won't be the same.
