Buccaneers Still Hope To Re-Sign Rob Gronkowski
3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers still hope to re-sign tight end Rob Gronkowski now that quarterback Tom Brady has unretired, according to a source. It shouldn't be that hard to persuade free agents, let alone Gronk, to come to Tampa now that the GOAT is back in the NFL. The 32-year-old Gronkowski dealt with injuries in 2021 and played in 12 regular season games, but he managed to produce a healthy 55 catches for 802 yards and six touchdowns on 89 targets when he was on the field. The five-time Pro Bowl tight end would once again be a weekly TE1 for fantasy managers if he returns to team up with Brady for another season in 2022, but you'll want to have an insurance option as a backup given Gronk's extensive injury history.
