7 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals closer Bud Norris was unavailable to pitch on Tuesday night to due what manager Mike Matheny is referring to as "a little soreness." Norris had a dip in his velocity in his last outing on Sunday against the Cincinnati Reds, but he was able to pitch well regardless. Still, it's a slight concern, especially given the fact that reliever Greg Holland finally looked liked himself on Tuesday. Eventually, Holland will replace Norris, but for now it seems like Norris' job is safe as long as his "soreness" isn't something worse.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
