Buffalo Deems Cole Beasley Week-To-Week With Leg Injury
4 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (leg) sustained a leg injury during Monday's win over the Patriots and head coach Sean McDermott said Tuesday that Beasley's availability can be considered "week-to-week." The ailment derails the best season of Beasley's career, as he has accumulated career highs in receptions (82), receiving yards (967), and catch percentage (76.6 percent), while becoming a consistent cog in the Bills' high-octane offense. There is little reason for the Bills to rush Beasley back for a Week 17 matchup against the Dolphins, which should allow Gabriel Davis, Isaiah McKenzie, and Andre Roberts to see larger roles in the passing game, especially if John Brown (COVID-19) is not cleared to return. Should Beasley return for the postseason, he'll have low-priced DFS appeal no matter the Bills' opponent.
