4 years agoSan Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey (hamstring) could return to the lineup on Friday after exiting Wednesday's game early with hamstring tightness, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. Posey was replaced defensively in the seventh inning with what was later announced as right hamstring tightness, but manager Gabe Kapler said he believes Posey could be fine in time to return to the lineup for Friday's series opener with the Padres. He has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball this year, slashing .394/.449/.732 with seven home runs, 10 RBI and 17 runs scored in 20 games.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
