4 years agoSan Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey keeps putting up numbers in his age-34 season. Posey went 4-for-5 in San Francisco's 12-0 trouncing of Colorado, hitting two singles, a double and one two-run homer off Rockies reliever Tyler Kinley. Posey struck out in his other plate appearance while scoring three runs himself and driving in three total on the day. This was the second game this season in which Posey hit in the upper part of the heart of the Giants lineup, slotting in at fifth and breaking a two-game skid without hits. The four hits were also a season-high for Posey, who now has 17 hits on the season to go with five home runs. Posey is one of only 18 players with 55-plus plate appearances in April to log an OPS above 1.000.--Antonio Losada - RotoBaller
