7 years agoSan Francisco Giants catcher/first baseman Buster Posey (hip) is likely to undergo season-ending hip surgery, according to John Shea. Posey is out of the lineup on Tuesday and may have already played his last game of the season. Posey has been dealing with this hip injuries since May. The Giants are discussing options of possible surgery, according to manager Bruce Bochy. There is a good chance that Posey has played his last game in 2018.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
