7 years agoSan Francisco Giants catcher/first baseman Buster Posey (ankle) will be held out at least through next Tuesday. Manager Bruce Bochy said that Posey’s left ankle still “barks” when he hits and that he doesn’t want him catching until next Tuesday at the earliest. Posey has seen his power numbers decline in recent years, but still remains a top-tier catcher and should see his average around .300 this year with more run production with the Giants acquiring outfielder Andrew McCutchen and third baseman Evan Longoria.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
