Byron Buxton Activated From DL, Sent to Triple-A
6 years agoThe Minnesota Twins have activated outfielder Byron Buxton (toe) from the disabled list and optioned him to Triple-A. Buxton has struggled in 2018, hitting .156 with four RBI and five stolen bases over 28 games. The Twins are hoping his trip to the minors will help him find his swing. He's coming off a year in which he hit .253 with 16 home runs, 51 RBI and 29 stolen bases, proving his potential. If Buxton shines in Triple-A, he will be an immediate add in all leagues, but for now it's best he is left on the waiver wire in shallow formats.
