Byron Buxton Back In Wednesday's Lineup
2 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (knee) is back in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Detroit Tigers and left-hander Tyler Alexander, serving as the designated hitter and batting leadoff. Buxton will return after missing the last two games with minor knee soreness, so fantasy managers need to get him back into their starting lineups. The 28-year-old hasn't hit for average this year (.220) and isn't running much (three stolen bases), but he does have 26 home runs, 46 RBI and 55 runs scored in 291 at-bats. In just five games played since the All-Star break, he's gone 5-for-18 (.278) with three home runs, three RBI and a stolen base.
