3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton had a nice day at the plate on Thursday as he homered twice during the club's 10-7 loss to the Yankees. He took Gerrit Cole deep in the first inning as a part of back-to-back-to-back homers, and then he victimized the right-hander again the following inning for a three-run shot. He finished the contest going 2-for-4 with a walk, two runs, and four RBI as he's now hitting a sharp .391 with four bombs so far in June. For the season, Buxton is still trying to build on his lowly .231 BA after an extensive slump in May, but his 15 HR, 32 runs, and 28 RBI through 42 games are still pulling their weight.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
