3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (hand) was able to work out this morning before leaving the team due to a family matter. Buxton is expected to return Monday, at which point he'll get another workout in, then the club will assess where he's at. The speedy outfielder has been sidelined since June 21 with a boxer's fracture in his left hand, though it sounds like a rehab assignment could be around the corner for him. The Twins figure to be extra careful with Buxton, but he could give patient fantasy managers a major boost down the stretch if he comes back healthy and plays the way he did earlier in the year.--Tim Capurso
