Byron Buxton Could Return To Lineup Tuesday

2 years agoMinnesota Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said that outfielder Byron Buxton (undisclosed) was not available in Monday's 5-3 win over the Tigers because of how he felt, per Twins writer Betsy Helfand. There were no more specifics, but this sounds like simple soreness, as Baldelli said he is hopeful Buxton can return to the lineup Tuesday. The 28-year-old has traded average for power this season, slashing .220/.296/.550 with 26 home runs, 46 RBI and three stolen bases in 324 plate appearances. Buxton's inability to stay healthy has plagued fantasy managers for many seasons, so hopefully he will be able to return shortly.
