3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (hand) was a late scratch from Saturday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays due to a right-hand contusion. He was removed from the starting lineup for precautionary reasons. The 28-year-old isn't expected to miss much time and is day-to-day. Over his last five games, Buxton has been on fire, hitting .300 with three home runs with seven RBI during that span. Gilberto Celestino handled centerfield duties in Saturday's game and would continue to start at the position while Buxton is sidelined.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
