4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (undisclosed) was forced to leave Sunday's game early. It's unclear what occurred, but Brent Rooker was sent in as a pinch-hitter before Buxton's second at-bat of the game- so it's likely that something happened to the speedy outfielder when he was playing in the field. The Twins shifted Jake Cave over to center with Rooker set to finish the game in left. Hopefully, it's not a serious injury, as Buxton was off to a hot start, with two homers, a double, and a stolen base in his first three games of 2021.
