4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a double, and two runs scored in Thursday's 10-2 win over the Mariners. Buxton clubbed his fourth homer of the season- tying him for the major-league lead- a 109.6 MPH bullet of a long ball. Seven of his eight hits have gone for extra bases this season- and the stolen base numbers shouldn't be too far behind so long as he stays on the field. Buxton will get a day off before Saturday's matchup against left-hander Yusei Kikuchi.--Tim Capurso
