4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (foot) is in the starting lineup for the team's home opener against the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday. He'll bat ninth against right-hander Carlos Martinez, who is making his first start since 2018. Buxton recovered nicely from a left foot sprain, running and taking live batting practice the last few days. It's great news for fantasy managers who have been waiting with bated breath to insert him into their lineups. Buxton was great last year in just 87 games, posting an .827 OPS with 48 runs scored, 30 doubles, 10 home runs, and 14 stolen bases. Health is the only thing holding him back from a breakout.--Tim Capurso
