3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton suffered an undisclosed leg injury sliding into second base on a leadoff pop-up double on Friday against the Boston Red Sox. Buxton knew it right away and slapped the ground as he finished his slide. He walked off the field under his own power and won't return to the game. It's always something with Buxton, but let's hope his latest injury isn't too serious. The good news is that he walked off the field under his own power. The 28-year-old power speed threat came into Friday's game with three home runs, four RBI, one stolen base and a .217 average in his first 25 plate appearances.
