Byron Buxton Leaves Monday's Game Early
2 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton left his team's Monday game early with a knee injury. Buxton appeared to tweak something in his right knee during a swing, but he was able to stay in the game. Later, he attempted to make a diving catch in center field, stayed down afterward, and was then replaced in the outfield by Jake Cave. Buxton has had issues with his right knee before and has been playing through the pain for much of the year. There is no indication as to how serious the knee injury is at the moment, but look for the Twins to update his status before Tuesday's game.
