7 years agoUpdating a previous report, the Minnesota Twins want to see how outfielder Byron Buxton's fractured left toe responds to his workout on Monday. If he emerges feeling good, he will run the bases on Tuesday and the plan is to have him travel with the team to Anaheim for their series with the Los Angeles Angels. It is possible that Buxton could be activated in time for the start of that series. Buxton has been on the disabled list since mid-April, originally with migraines and later with a fractured toe which he suffered during a rehab assignment.--Matt T - RotoBaller
