4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (knee) is not in Monday's lineup for the opening game of the series against the Indians. Buxton is dealing with patellar tendonitis, an issue that has reportedly been bothering him throughout the season. Manager Rocco Baldelli said that the 27-year-old was feeling it a little more this morning- and they'll get him treatment in the hopes that he'll be back in the lineup for Tuesday's game. It doesn't sound like it will keep Buxton sidelined for long, but it's certainly something his fantasy manager should keep an eye on. Jake Cave will get the start in center and bat seventh.--Tim Capurso
