4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (foot) worked out in St. Paul on Wednesday and picked up the intensity. Buxton was able to run and take live swings just a week after being carted off the field with a sprained left foot. The 26-year-old was adamant that he would be ready for Opening Day against the Chicago White Sox on Friday. It sure seems like he'll be able to suit up, though don't believe it until you see it. Buxton brings a rare blend of speed and power to the table-10 home runs and 14 stolen bases in 87 games in 2019- though he needs to stay healthy to find his true potential.--Tim Capurso
