Byron Buxton Placed On Triple-A DL
6 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (wrist) has been placed on the Triple-A disabled list. He is reportedly suffering a wrist strain and will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days. Buxton has dealt with both hand and foot injuries throughout the season and hasn't appeared in a major league game since May 29. When healthy, Buxton has hit just .156 with four RBI and four stolen bases this season. Buxton has shown potential in the past, hitting 16 home runs and stealing 29 bases in 2017. However, due to injuries and overall inconsistencies, it doesn't look like he'll be much of a contributor in 2018.
