4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (hamstring) remains sidelined on Friday. Buxton is dealing with a tight hamstring, an ailment that has cost him four games. The 27-year-old plans to test out the injury on the field before the game against the Angels, with manager Rocco Baldelli saying earlier that the team was assessing his availability for either Friday or Saturday's contests. The Twins are likely operating under an abundance of caution with Buxton, who should not be sidelined for too much longer. Jake Cave will get another start in center and bat ninth.--Tim Capurso
