4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (head) is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday in Game 2 of the Twins wild-card series against the Houston Astros. Buxton was hit by a pitch in the helmet on Friday and displayed mild concussion symptoms after that game. Twins manager Rocco Baldelli told reporters on Wednesday that Buxton is not in the lineup because he is not yet 100%. Buxton could, however, be available off of the bench in this do-or-die game against the Astros if his condition improves later in the day.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
